Rincon's Fun Coast:
The beaches of our "Puntas" section of Rincon are

the winter months when the surf is up. P ara-sailing and wind surfing add to the

Rincon's "Sunset Coast":
While there is plenty of
surfing next door on the "Puntas" beaches - the surfing beaches near
our lighthouse are some of the most dramatic waves in the world.
Located on the 'corner' of Rincon where the Atlantic meets the
Caribbean - the winter currents create waves off Domes Beach,
Indicator, Maria's Beach and Steps Beach that will take your breath
away from October to March.
In the winter, you'll want watch the
action from the Lighthouse Park or the Surfing Coast Beaches unless
you're a world-class surfer...
In the summer, the waves calm down and
make this area a favorite for visitors who want a secluded beach of
their own.... Steps beach is a favorite for snorkelers in the
summer...
Rincon's
Downtown:Although there aren't many
options to stay in our downtown area - you'll want to make sure and
visit our newly restored 'Plaza Central' - especially at night when
you'll find several nice restaurants along the traditional town
square in front of the church. You'll also find a great public beach
that is almost empty most of the year, but is packed with local
tourist every July when all of Puerto Rico goes on vacation!
Rincon's
Caribbean Coast:This is the place you'll find
the more traditional 'resort type' accommodations along with
mid-rise condos, beachfront villas and inns. Corsega Beach
goes on for miles along calm Caribbean waters that are great for
swimming all year round. Further south, Barrero and Añasco
beaches provide great options for water sports and relaxation as the
beaches dot the coast between the hills..
