Valentines Day in Rincon, Puerto Rico
Rincon, Puerto Rico is a great place to be for Valentine's Day. Start the day with a morning surf lesson from Boarding House or yoga at La Paz, maybe some breakfast at the English Rose, then shopping for local sea glass jewelry at Tres Puertas or stop by the Red Door for a special gift.
The late afternoon is a great time to try to catch the whales migration through the Mona passage from the Punta Higuera lighthouse park or try an afternoon trip to Desecheo Island with Taino Divers or a romantic sunset cruise aboard the Katarina.
And of course dinner! The Horned Dorset, Villa Cofresi and Das Alpen Cafe all have special Valentine menus with live music. What better place to spend a romantic day!

Rincon.org New Features!
The Tourism Association of Rincon would like to welcome it's newest members: Galeria Arte de Enid, Tres Puertas Gallery, Lino Feliciano Real Estate, All Events Catering, Vivid Marketing Concepts, Rincon Villa, Oceanview Paradise and Surf 787 Surf School.
These local business owners have taken an active role in promoting Rincon as a tourist destination and we welcome them to our Association Community.
We have a few new communication tools to reach out to tourists in Rincon, our Facebook page, where we will post upcoming events, lodging specials and new information, be sure to "like" us. A new newsletter , keep track of what is happening in Rincon by signing up for our newsletter, (see the sidebar to the right). Halloween in Rincon
You can hear it in the ocean as the surf has started to creep upon us, October is here and in Rincon, Halloween is the unofficial start of the winter season. Tamboo Tavern, Calypso Cafe and Shipwreck Bar and Grill all have great Halloween parties with live music, costume prizes and of course, lots of scary stuff!
Things kick off on Saturday October 29 at Calypso Cafe with DJ Chikako and happy hour all night. Tamboo Tavern has live music and a dj starting at 9pm. The Shipwreck party is always great fun and there are some great Rincon lodging deals, so start planning your costume and enjoy one of the best night's in Rincon.

Tamboo Tavern Makes CNN's "Worlds 50 Best Beach Bars" List
